Artist Bio

Dana Taft is a visual artist living in Seattle Washington. She studied at Parsons School of Design and completed her B.F.A. at Cornish College of the Arts with an emphasis in painting. Her abstract paintings explore color, form, shape, movement, rhythm, balance, with an awkward grace and at times a subtle humor.

Dana was born in Seattle but raised in Northern California. After living in Vermont and New York City, she and her husband returned to Seattle to raise their sons, and have called it home for many years. She has also worked in textile arts, costume design, and before returning to school for her B.F.A., toured for several years with Two Penny Circus Theater as a performer.
